Every year, roughly eight billion pairs of jeans are produced worldwide, resulting in astronomical levels of waste. By using leftover fabric from past collections in projects like our new Recycled Denim Tote Bags, we're able to divert some of our waste from landfill and put it back into circulation.
Designing for circularity in this way makes the most of our natural resources, and keeps the man-made resources that already exist in the loop for more than one lifecycle. We currently divert 99% of our textile waste from landfill. Innovations like these will help us reach our goal of 100%.
